• Graduated from key universities in communications, computer, software and other related majors
• 3+ years experience in a large scale production software development environment.
• C programming and good debugging skills
• Experience writing code using a real-time embedded OS / platform (e.g. Linux, VxWorks, etc.)
• Experience writing code on a linux platform
• Good understanding of threads, semaphores, queues, etc.
• Experience working on a large software project (order of thousands of files and millions of LOC)
• Experience writing system management software / firmware
• Experience with networking protocols, and debugging (TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, FTP, TFTP, DHCP, LDAP, IPv6)
• SSL, PAM, Certificate management, encryption and hash algorithms
• IPMI
• Linux kernel and device drivers
• Understanding of PPC or similar processor boot process; experience with u-boot
• Ability to read schematics, component datasheets
• Design and implement software to interact with hardware components
• Experience with configuring and using hardware debuggers
• Experience with i2c or similar management bus protocols;
• Fluent in English. Excellent written and reading comprehension in English. Ability to write technical design documents in English
